Hello friends,

My name is Anna Candler and welcome to ‘It Might Seem Crazy’ a witty, no-holds-barred look at the rollercoaster ride of entrepreneurship. Here, I peel back the curtain on the real, often messy journey of turning an idea into a reality. From family indifference to imposter syndrome to ‘what the *** !!xx am I doing here’, I have lived it all and am continuing to do so as I fall off the bandwagon, dust myself down, and find the next wagon.

This blog and the community I want to build is your front-row seat to what it really takes to turn your ideas into plans and plans into actions. It’s how to navigate the hurdles, and where you learn that your ‘crazy’ might actually work.

Through ‘It Might Seem Crazy,’ I’m inviting you to join me at the entrepreneurial table – where we share war stories, celebrate small victories, and navigate the non-linear path of business and life.

As part of this journey, I’m embracing the #MyNov5Goal challenge – to complete my capital raising by November 5, 2024, so I can have The Circular Water Company up and running in 2025. Now, don’t walk away because your goal may be something smaller. Remember, it is your goal, not mine. It is all about taking the planning out of our heads.

My November 5th Goal

Make your “someday” November 5th.

Take the first step, share it with us, and join the friendship table.

Directions for success: First, ignore the map

Entrepreneur with a penchant for the unconventional. From corporate strategist to founder of The Circular Water Company, I’m tackling global challenges with innovative, sustainable solutions. My path has wound through finance, agriculture, and technology, always driven by the belief that ‘crazy’ ideas can change the world.

Now, I’m working towards turning bottled water into roads in emerging markets, leading the way in developing sustainable solutions for waste plastic. Join me as I explore the intersections of sustainability, innovation, and entrepreneurship—and learn how I’m getting out of my own way to turn plans into actions.
